“Sun” is a responsive large-scale projection by OBK. It generates a relationship between human movement and the evolution of stellar bodies.
The artwork is rooted in a conceptual and immersive practice that draws on macrocosmic imagery—visuals inspired by the vastness of the universe, celestial bodies, and cosmic cycles. Through sensor, movement, and responsive projection, the visuals shift in real time, creating a dynamic, ever-changing installation shaped by presence and interaction.
With “Sun”, OBK blurs the boundary between observer and artwork, reinforcing themes of interconnectedness and collective experience—mirroring the cosmic idea that individual elements affect the whole.
BACKGROUND
OBK is an emerging artist whose practice explores the intersection of new technologies and human sensory experiences. Engaging both touch and sight, OBK creates interactive works that invite the audience to observe and physically engage with the artwork. Focused on movement and frequencies, his projects challenge perceptions, altering how we experience the world around us. By manipulating perspectives and sensory interactions, OBK’s work expands the audience’s understanding of their environment and the objects within it.
