BACKGROUND
Johanna just started exploring curatorial practices recently. She studies liberal arts at the University of the Arts Bremen. Her transdisciplinary approach results in a critical review of new media in art. Her artistic practice is based on intensive research and encompasses art and activism. Central themes are informed by a politically engaged perspective, and social issues and personal values also influence the conceptual framework of her works. She seeks new forms of transforming socio-political concerns into artistic processes.
